Knowing vs. Knowing About

The difference between knowing and knowing about is action, and ultimately, the difference between the two is life and death.

Let me explain.

Many people say “I know that,” when they hear something useful, but they do not do it.

Do they really know it? No!

They are confusing two very different things: “KNOWING” and “knowing ABOUT,” and as the result, they shut their minds and hearts to real knowledge, because they think they “already know it,” not understanding that real knowledge is ACTION.

Let me give you an example.

You may know about seat belts saving lives in car crashes. But if you do not use seat belt, it will not save yours in a crash. You know ABOUT it, but you do not really KNOW it, because to really know, is to do. The difference? Life and death.

Another example: The difference between knowing ABOUT and REALLY knowing, is the difference between having blueprints for a dream house and living in it. One will save your life in the winter, the other will not. The difference? Life and death.

Another example: The difference between knowing about and knowing is the difference between having a recipe for a cheese cake and eating it. One will satisfy and nourish you, the other will not. One will save your life in a famine, the other will not. The ultimate difference? Life and death.

You get the point!

There are many unhappy people in the world because they know ABOUT things, but they do not KNOW things. In other words, they do not grasp the difference between knowing and knowing about.

If you want to be happy, you got to really KNOW the Truth, not just know about it.

To KNOW it you must practice it, put it into ACTION. Then you will really KNOW it, and not until then.

The magic of life is in ACTION.—Purposeful, effortless action in harmony with Truth. Then you will REALLY know things, and your joy will be full, and you will have Life.

Real Life!
